G.R.Polyfilm Pvt.Ltd began very humbly in the year 1990 at 120 Diamond Harbour Road, Kolkata – 700 063 address of the G.R.Group as a first step towards diversification from the parent business of Timber and saw mills, which was and still is a very successful business as of today. The drive to succeed in the new venture also, the capabilities were built up on the basis of contemporary technology, up to date and dependable machinery, relevant Quality Assurance system, skilled work force and competent administrative set up. Today it mushroomed into an organization with three manufacturing locations with most up to date plant and machinery, Quality Control set ups etc., ensuring macro-controls at every level and thereby enjoying a healthy customer confidence. Apart from supplying premium quality product, we often help and facilitate a customer to find an appropriate solution for his packaging needs.
The business environment of the company is being governed by the directors who are the second generation in business and has ample qualification and domain expertise to conduct the business profitably and in the most efficient manner.

All the technical matters, plant and machinery including R&D are dealt with by a veteran; a graduate in Mechanical Engineering with over thirty-eight years of work experience in the industry; out of which almost twenty-five years was in the overseas, dealing with manufacturing & converting of film for Flexible Packaging applications.

Production is run by a professional who has a Master Degree in Chemistry and has been trained at Indian Institute of Packaging.

The marketing set up is lead by also a veteran with nearly forty years of Sales and Marketing experience with renowned MNCs.

For systems management, various individual software systems were being used so far to take care of certain section of tasks. In order to integrate the entire individual / group activities under the control of a central and robust system, options are being evaluated for implementation of SAP Business One EPR solution along with PPAC-Manager; a highly specialized module for managing the manufacturing activity in a flexible packaging film manufacturing & converting industry.
